Postsecondary | BLOG
The mission of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Department of Postsecondary Education is to substantially increase the number of Chicago Public Schools students who continue their education after high school and who complete a certificate, associate or baccalaureate degree program.
At the Advanced Arts Education Program our postsecondary coordinators
will work to provide exposure, guidance, and financial resources to ensure
that our students are prepared for the academic and social environment
of higher education. We work with students to support them through portfolio
preparation, college admittance processes, scholarship searches, and college
preparation. AAEP students will participate in:
· College Fairs
· Portfolio Reviews
· Financial Aid Guidance Programs
· Career Development Workshops
· College Preparation Training
Every high school student should be planning for their future. Take an
active role in preparing your postsecondary plans. It's never too early!
